Background

Established in 1991, South East Cooling has built a strong reputation for delivering expert air conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical services in South England. With decades of experience and a loyal client base that includes high-profile customers, the company is known for its professionalism, flexibility, and commitment to meeting customer needs.

Following a recent change in ownership, South East Cooling began a new chapter focusing on modernising its brand and digital presence. The previous website, built on an outdated CMS with limited functionality and poor mobile responsiveness, no longer reflected the quality or reliability of the business. Security concerns, performance issues, and an outdated user experience made it difficult for customers and staff to use it effectively.

The new owner recognised the need for a complete digital refresh, starting with a rebrand and a fully reimagined website that aligned with the company’s reputation and long-term vision.

Solution

We led a complete rebrand for South East Cooling, creating a new logo and brand guidelines to unify the company’s visual identity across digital and print. This set the foundation for a complete website redesign, focusing on usability, performance, and future scalability.

Our UX research phase identified key user journeys and areas of friction in the old site. Using these insights, we designed a modern, conversion-focused interface that reflects South East Cooling’s professionalism and reliability, while simplifying access to services for residential and commercial customers.

The new site was built with clean WordPress architecture and minimal plugin reliance to ensure fast loading speeds and long-term maintainability. We implemented lightweight custom JavaScript modules and GSAP-powered animations to bring movement and polish to the user experience without sacrificing performance.

In addition to improving the customer-facing side, we restructured the backend to make it easier for the South East Cooling team to manage and update content independently, from service pages to seasonal promotions, without needing external support.

The final result is a fast, SEO-friendly website that balances technical quality with user-centred design. This gives South East Cooling a digital presence that supports its growth and reflects its professionalism.
