Website Case study
A multi-functional WordPress website design featuring e-commerce, booking and services with a heavy focus on simple, organised design styles. Main service pages optimised for local SEO.
Life Styling are a professional organising service offering in-person and virtual services as well as selling digital and physical goods. They support their clients to re-connect to authentic life and style that celebrates them as individuals.
Jessica from Life Styling contacted Webhive Digital for “the full package” for her website, meaning we would be working on a brand new website design (moving her existing Wix website over to WordPress) and optimising her main service pages for search engines.
We started out by focussing heavily on the design elements of the website, first creating a homepage design that communicated the authentic brand behind Life Styling. Once this was agreed, we moved on to the functionality side of the website and remaining pages.
Individual page designs were created for service pages, the shop, homepage and blog to ensure each had it’s own tailored functionality and contained all the features Jessica envisioned for her new website.
As part of this, we included easy to use content switchers so visitors could toggle between virtual and in-person services, as well as booking forms, an expansive blog and lots of beautiful imagery.
Alongside this, Webhive Digital got to work on creating website content optimised for search engines and ensuring the new website design had everything in place from a technical SEO point of view to ensure results.
Since their new website went live in December 2020, Life Styling are appearing on page 1 of Google for their location based services and feature in top spots on Houzz. Below you’ll see some of our favourite features from the website design.
